This place is my happy place. It is hard not to feel uplifted by a good frozen yogurt. In fact, if every corner of the world is like this place, the world would be a perfect paradise with no war and no hunger because everybody is happy feeding each other delicious frozen yogurt. I like that they have no sugar, low fat varieties and the calories number atop each selections to guide you if you are weight-concious. But if you are like me, you'd end up loading the bowl with all sorts of unhealthy craps anyway because they do have so many sinfully delicious toppings, it makes my head spin. I just cross my fingers and hope for the best, like the body manages to somehow turn them into muscles instead. The place also looks clean, I mean, OCD-ish spotless clean. I spotted the guy at the counter cleaning the store whenever he's not attending customers. If you like frozen yogurt (and who doesn't?) go here. It's the best.

I was so happy when I found out they offer my favorite flavor: plain tart! The inside is clean and well managed. They have a machine that will blend your froyo if you want a milkshake. The cashier was very friendly. There was a nice selection of toppings. My only complaint? It was a little chilly inside. We"ll be back :)

Craving a little snack last evening my fiancé and I decided to hit up this Sugarhouse location to satisfy our sweet tooth. It was nearing closing time when we arrived. It was 20min before the store would close, so naturally we thought that would be enough time. The lone employee had already stacked the chairs and made it clear that she was very disappointed with our arrival. We said that we didn't plan on staying in to eat so she could continue with her closing. She began to mop the floors as we grabbed our yogurt. Once we filled our cups we went to grab toppings. The were covered and we asked if we may grab a few. At this time the young lady told us that they were covered for the night and we couldn't have any. While, this may have been understandable if the store was closed, it was not. I felt that the night employee was tired and lazy and didn't feel like actually doing her job. My fiancé dumped his cup in the trash and I should have done the same with mine. Disappointed with the laziness and lackluster service and that's saying something considering this is "self-serve"

This TCBY serves up some yummy frozen yogurt at this Sugar House location. Like the many other yogurt places that have popped up recently, the format is simple: walk inside, pickup a cup, add as much yogurt as you'd like and as many flavors as you'd like, throw on some toppings, get it weighed and realize you got to much when the bill is really high, pay the bill, enjoy the deliciousness! Anyone whose been to a self-serve yogurt shop knows what I'm talking about. You always seem to end up with too much! But when is too much of a good thing bad? Never! TCBY had a fair selection of favors and a lot of different toppings. The yogurts I had were good and the fresh food I topped it with was also good. I wish they'd had more flavors or really, just more flavors that I liked, but I made do with what they offered and found some yogurt I really liked. Inside this TCBY is clean, modern and fun. Prices were on par with other self-serve yogurt joints. Definitely a good place for a treat!

As documented in many other places, the whole pay-by-the-ounce things drives me berserk. I can either get a large cup of frozen yogurt (because they don't sell 'em small) or a slightly used mid-sized sedan. Same price. I was delighted, then to find out about Waffle Cone Wednesday. Just show up on Wednesday night, grab a waffle cone, and fill it to the brim with as much junk as you can jam in it without falling out, all for just a few bucks (I wanna say it was $3-4.. for a guy who's so price sensitive on this stuff you'd think I would have tattooed it on my arm). Be sure to sample before you dedicate your whole cone or cup. Not all flavors are winners. And be prepared for a crowd on Wednesday nights. The word is out. In fact, I'm not sure how long they'll be doing the Wednesday promotion, really. Best to call ahead so you don't get stuck with $863 cups of froyo.

I really don't understand the appeal of this place. The technology of the place is interesting, but I just don't care for the frozen yogurt. Maybe I expect too much... something like Nielsen's Frozen Custard, but the frozen yogurt here just tastes to me like watered down soft serve ice cream. Just not for me.

Well, I am impressed. Haven't been to TCBY since college in Northern Arizona and that was, well, 1995. So a loooonnnngggg time. Anyway, They have changed. The place is modern, hip, well laid out and you have about 10 flavors of yogurt to choose from. To top it off, you have about 100 toppings to choose from. The best part, you do it all yourself and while the cup sizes are large, my concoction came to 2.36. Can't beat that Good work TCBY, like the new look and I am glad I didn't just drive by this time, like I have ever since you took over the old Hogi Yogi space. Thank God that place is gone!

I love love love TCBY. I feel like I go here a couple times a week. Once the staff recognizes you, you know it's a problem. BUT how can you go wrong here? They have a great selection of flavors, all self serve that change occasionally to keep the excitement alive. The toppings bar is always kept immaculately clean, too. If you leave a few crumbs behind, don't fret, someone is cleaning them up as soon as you move down the line. The weigh-in is always an intense moment...how overboard did I go this time? The cup size is deceiving because it is huge and when you are filling it up, you somehow end up spending anywhere from $3-6 a cup.

During the summer months I practically lived at this TCBY. I literally came 3-4 times a week. This is not your old dated TCBY. Since being acquired by Mrs Fields, TCBY has totally sexified her look. It's like she left her aging husband, got a boob job and a hot young boyfriend. The staff is super friendly, the decor is modern and hip and above all the yogurt is delicious. Did I mention the frozen yogurt is delicious? They have an assortment of flavors that change from week to week, but offer my personal favorite, tart. Their tart is perfection. If I would have reviewed this in the summer months it would have been 5 stars. Now that it's winter I've noticed their fruit toppings are less than fresh. Thawed berries just sort of turn into a giant mess of mush. That could be a good thing, I guess depending on your tastes, but I have this weird texture thing.

Good, quality stuff...I do prefer the TCBY at Fashion place based on the service. Certainly, the employees are friendly and nice in Sugarhouse, but there are ALWAYS 4 or 5 people working in that small space and in turn, I end up feeling a bit hounded. Perhaps that's because they are all a tad over the top. But if my only complaint is how many people there are to help and how overly attentive they are, I suppose things could be worse :)

I love love looooooove fro-yo and I was so excited to find TCBY open late on a SUNDAY night when everything else was annoyingly closed. I was like a kid in a candy store when it came to the toppings bar. Having mochi gets an automatic 4 stars in my book, but having *good* mochi bumps it up to 5. It's my fav topping and impossible to find sometimes. I loved the tart and the coffee flavors. I was also excited to see a hot chocolate flavor coming soon, I will be all over that. The toppings are all over the place and there is something for everyone from the healthy to the not so healthy, like chunks of straight up cheesecake just chilling there, begging me to eat them. I loved that they were self-serve so you get what you pay for and no skimping on the good stuff. I can't wait for warmer weather to roll around. When it does, I can see myself hitting this place up much more often.

TCBY is...HANDS DOWN...my FAVORITE frozen yogurt place! I love how they always add new and interesting flavors on a weekly basis, without removing the classic flavors that everyone loves. My favorite thing to get is very simple - strawberry yogurt, topped off with Hershey's syrup, fresh strawberries, and granola. I'm happy to see that I can always try their unique releases but don't have to worry about my favorites disappearing in case I'm not in the mood to try something new. The problem with most places...is they're too caught up with releasing new flavors that they don't have room to keep some of the originals. Might I also add that their selection of toppings is just ENDLESS? Although i like to keep mine simple, the friends I bring here always enjoy choosing between the numerous options. They also have a rewards card so that you can earn points every time you swing by! I just got a free yogurt the other day for being a frequent frogurt fanatic. A definite favorite stop for the blazing summer!

I tried TCBY for the first time last night, and it ruled. It's all self serve, even down to the endless supply of toppings. First, you choose from over 10 choices of fro yo flavors, then you walk by an unlimited amount of every topping you could think of that you can pile as high as you please (without your mom telling you that you have too much) I chose raspberries and strawberries. Okay, and brownies and cookie dough. Alright, and I might have added some gummy bears too. It was too hard to pick just one! Then, you weigh your creation and pay. Mine may have been a little more expensive, but definitely worth it. The yogurt was awesome and the store itself was too, with a colorful retro feel to it. I definitely recommend TCBY to all ice cream/fro yo lovers!

This place is pretty tasty! I'm loving this self-serve yogurt craze that has hit SLC in the past year. My favorite topping is their Acai sauce. Very original and a great pair with the tart yogurt and nuts. It's a fun place for a date or to meet up with friends. The location is convenient, although with the shopping centers, parking can be tricky. Also, big high five to the staff. The cashier mistook my $50 bill for a $20 and I got shortchanged. I noticed the next day, called the manager and he had the money I lost waiting for me to pick-up that day. What a relief! They will definitely continue to get my business.

I like to stop at TCBY every time I'm in the area (going to Michael's Nordstrom Rack, New Balance, or the dollar theaters.) There are usually different flavors for the frozen yogurt, and I can take a few of the sampler cups and try the flavors that intrigue me before I make my decisions on which ones I'm going for. Yay and fun! When I'm getting the fruity flavors I like to top the fro yo with the berries and other fruity toppings, and when I'm in the mood for the non-fruity kinds (white chocolate mousse, classic tart, etc.) I'd add the cheesecake bites and lots of chopped walnuts to them. Yum! The staff is always friendly and helpful, and it's clean and bright inside the store. A fun place to grab a little frozen treat for yourself!

My search for an AMAZING fro-yo spot has come to an end. TCBY is hands down my favorite fro-yo in SLC. They live up to their name as The Country's Best Yogurt. After a complete re-branding effort, TCBY has opened it's doors in the old Hogi Yogi location in Sugarhouse. The updated store is hip, modern and CLEAN! The staff is very friendly and the frozen yogurt is perfect. TCBY truly is a 5 star experience. Things that I LOVE about TCBY: 1. Self serve 2. Multiple cup sizes 3. A delicious tart, which is truly tart but also creamy 4. Lots of fresh fruit for toppings. They also offer all types of syrups, candy, cookies and even yogurt. 5. Daily specials like buy one get one 1/2 off and double punch day. 6. Open late and open on SUNDAY! (That is a true Utah miracle) 7. It's only $0.39 per once There is only one bad thing about this location, which is parking. I recommend staying away on Saturday afternoons because they share a parking lot with Michaels, Nordstrom and a movie theater so it get's pretty bananas. I am sucker for fresh fruit and tart creamy frozen yogurt. After my first taste of TCBY I knew I was in love. I love you TCBY and look forward to many intimate evenings together. xoxo

They were ok. I've definitely had better, but I've also had worse. I think my biggest gripe is the cup sizes, huge and extra huge. They're clearly trying to trick you into creating a 5 pound treat. I served myself what I thought to be a reasonable portion and the kid at the counter said "That's all you're getting?" Um. Yes. It's called portion control and just because I'm a little chubby doesn't mean I don't try to exercise it from time to time.

Mmmmm so good. It really is difficult to stay away from this place. Like most self serve fro yo places, the flavors are switched around and replaced but there is usually always something for everyone. There is always a good selection of toppings, and the decor and indoor seating accommodations are colorful and adorable. What are you waiting for? Come check it out for yourself.

Pretty good for a chain-store. They offer low fat and no added sugar options which is nice, as well as more yogurt flavors than most other stores. The toppings are variable from visit to visit but pretty diverse and they have mochi, which seems to be a favorite. I think the best yogurt flavor is the cheesecake. They seem kind of expensive as they charge per ounce, but it comes out to about a cup of speciality coffee (in the $3.50 range for the smaller size cup) so it's fine for an occasional treat. I've been twice and both times the clerks were pleasant and competent so hopefully they can keep that up. Overall, worth repeat visits.
